
The Brief
Branding/Packaging
This Brief was given to us by the brand Squashed, which specializes in vegan ‘rescued’ fruit snacks. They asked for a minimalistic yet impactful design for their blueberry bao bun. These would be targeted to the ages of 14- 34. to tackle such a large age range, I approached my design with the idea of it being a family-favourite snack.

The Solution
From this, I decided to take a playful approach to the design and play around with the concept of using the ingredients as facial features, which could easily be translated to other future flavours.
To create a compromise between the minimalistic yet impactful design, I created a 3d image which, when taking photos, created depth to the design without compromising the minimalistic desire the brand had in mind. The texture created by the paper also aligns with the recycled materials, cardboard and paper, on which they wish to print the designs.
